One of Sweden’s most versatile and dynamic young singers, Susanna Andersson studied at London's Guildhall School of Music and Drama winning the prestigious 2003 Gold Medal Competition before graduating. The following year she won the coveted Song Prize at the Kathleen Ferrier Awards, held at London's Wigmore Hall. In the 2006 Susanna was selected as the only singer for the prestigious ECHO Rising Stars series in which she gave acclaimed recitals with pianist Eugene Asti in London, New York, Athens, Amsterdam, Birmingham, Brussels, Stockholm, Köln, and Vienna.
Susanna has appeared in concert with the BBC Symphony Orchestra at both the BBC Proms, and Aldeburgh Festival and has sung with major orchestras throughout Scandinavia.
In the current season Susanna has sung Venus and Gepopo in Ligeti’s Le Grand Macabre at ENO and the 2010 Adelaide Festival.
